Going to the meeting tonight ARGH!!!! So wanna end this pain NOW!

i'm only going to the meeting because of my husband!

i was 'in' solo for years while living with my unbelieving family and i know how it feels to be the only one in your house going to the meeting.

i also respect my husband's decision, and know what it's like to have family try to tear down your beliefs.

Who wouldnt have such night terrors associating with people who dont care care about the poor or sick?

Punk you are sooo right about 'Smile and nod.' I spend months of my life living and travelling in countries whose languages I do not speak.

When friends ask me if I can speak the lingo, I say '' No, but I can smile and nod in any known language.''....and everything works out just fine.

Julia no longer thinks nor speaks 'watchtower' it is now foriegn to her - what to do but smile and nod.

Hello brainmelt - and welcome to you and your family.

I remember, so many years ago, that same feeling of 'brain melt'. So much pain, but it lessens with each assurance and success.

I'm glad you came here - there is so much wise and compassionate friendship to help you all live joyful free lives.

And great timing too -with the young ones about to start school unfettered - the world is their oyster..

It will all take shape as fast the kids outgrow their old shoes - so keep us well posted.

so, a good friend of mine, a pentecostal christian, invited me to go to a retreat with her church.

we're the same age-19 years.

we were friends before i became a witness and she was always patient and caring with me especially throughout my arrogant spell as a witness.

A young Anglican minister conducted my Moms funeral service. She was shy and wasn't one of his regulars, so he had my sister tell him about her - her life and history, the family she raised, and her little antiques business she loved so much.....he wove together and delivered , the most gracious, dignified and utterly appropriate, funeral I had ever attended.

He understood, and took the time to make it apparent, that my Moms quite life of hard work, was a blessing to many people in many ways.

His wonderful delivery was truly a gift to a family in grief.
